HEARTS & HAIKU
Why should jewelry be imprisoned in a jewelry box when not adorning the body?
These pieces have their own spirit as wall pieces when not being worn. Each speaks through the water color and added text.
The botanical assemblages were conceived from plein air watercolor
sketches. A haiku poem which is written on the back of the acrylic
assemblages enriches each one.
Each piece is fabricated fine silver embellished with 14K gold.
All of the jewelry pieces and companion watercolors are housed in an acrylic wall piece to be displayed.
For photography clarity the acrylic housing is shown only here.
May your heart dance with the fluidity of a feather.
